Always Looking Up

Add to your life by subtracting from it. Let go of narcissism, always trying to look good, avoiding looking bad…drop the mask…the games…the constant need to be performing on a stage…and show up real. Real loving. Real caring. The real you. People will fall in love with you I promise. But the mask must go. It’s only when the mask goes and you show up vulnerably that unconditional love will find its way to you - from the inside and from others. Then……you bloom :)

Let the fire inside burn as bright, hot, and passionate as you can possibly let it. There’s no use in getting to the end of your life and wondering if you could have given more, have had more passion for the gifts you’ve been given, and to wonder what it would have been like if you just said “f*ck it I am going to be the brightest light I can possibly be.” So here I am tonight, and in Les’ famous words…I refuse to die and unlived life. So I’m going to do that. Do I have doubts, insecurities, and fears? You bet. But I have the gift of enthusiasm, passion, and drive and I’ll live in regret if I don’t light those up and see what they fully yield. After all, I know that in the end, I’ll be taken care of by the powers that be. Here’s to that “f*** it” moment…shine.
